The problem
A specialist catalogue that has to sell on its own
Fire safety equipment is bought on specifics: the right extinguisher, alarm panel or protective gear, its brand, its price and whether it is in stock. TechSouk Dhaka needed a store where a customer could find that, order it for delivery anywhere in Bangladesh, and follow the order afterwards, with the catalogue, stock and orders kept in one place behind it.
What we built
A storefront of its own, run from the Commerce console
We built TechSouk Dhaka's storefront on Revolop Commerce. Customers browse fire, safety and security categories, narrow the range by price, availability, category and brand, and open product pages that show stock, SKU, brand and an estimated delivery timeline. An order placed on the site can be followed on a public tracking page, while the TechSouk team manages products, stock and orders from the Revolop Commerce merchant console.
Engineering challenges
Their brand, on a shared platform
The storefront is TechSouk Dhaka's own, designed around its brand and its customers, while the catalogue, orders and stock run on the same Revolop Commerce platform as our product. The store looks like no one else's without a commerce engine being built from scratch for it.
